ABOUT RACHAEL
Welcome to my page and thank you for visiting!
I am a Brisbane based make up artist and hair stylist, and have been a qualified make up artist for 16 years. My experience spans bridal, school formals, event make up, editorial, body art and theatrical make up. I have definitely had quite a colourful upbringing in make up.
I studied and began my career in theatre and film in Ireland, also working in photoshoots, fashion shows and performance make up.
After returning to Australia I worked with brands Napoleon Perdis and MAC Cosmetics whilst still freelancing on the side.
In my time I have worked with Queensland Ballet, Queensland Theatre Company and am currently working with Opera Queensland as part of their make up and hair styling team. Along with the Opera I also work as a hair and make up artist in commercial advertising for print and television.
Currently I operate out of a beautiful hair salon Ginger and Spice in Wooloowin doing my occasion make ups and hairstyling appointments, and am also mobile for weddings and group bookings.
